Teleconference Minutes (Jan+Feb, 2008)

Date: Jan 21 & Feb 11, 2008

Time: 9:00 – 10:30 PM (Houston time)

Attendees: Jian Zhu, Paul Wang, and Song Cao

Jan 21 Meeting

1. Paul and Song reported their activities during CMC2007, with following remarks:

• CMC2007 was very successful with over 2000 participations
• Meeting with AEA was good with good sharing and open discussion on possible sharing resources and jointly developing some projects, however, AEA is currently focused on Leadership Training and not committed to do any projects, either for profit or no-profit.
• Making some good contacts for involving China missions and developing China CCBAs.

2. Reviewing and sharing on CCBA 2007 activities:

• In general, CCBA did good job in organization setup (registration, IRS tax exempt status, etc.)
  But weak in activities

3. Brainstorming on CCBA 2008 goal and activites:

• CCBA main focus should be on developing and running projects, which will link and promote all other activities such as training, sharing, networking, etc.
• CCBA should team up with other Christ-centered organizations (such as ACEE, AEA, etc.) to share resources and jointly develop projects.
• Strengthening or improving CCBA top-level management team by increasing board members, advisors, and executive managers.

Feb 11 Meeting

This was the continuation of Jan 21 Meeting. After discussions and sharing, the board has decided:

1. Invite Tony Lei and Finn Torjesen to join CCBA board. More candidates are discussed and considered for CCBA top-level management. Song and Jian will contact more candidates

2. Minimum goal for 2008

• Increase CCBA board members to 5 or 7
• Increase CCBA executive managers 3-5
• More advisors
• Setup two CCBAs in US (Houston and another one)
• Setup one CCBA in China (Taiyuan or other city)
• Do one project for profit (generating CCBC income)
• Offer normal CCBA activities (member meetings, workshop, etc.)
• Complete CCBA website with “project listing” function
  
  3. Establish Houston CCBA by May 15, 2008 (Song takes the lead)
  
  4. Establish partnership with ACEE by signing official partnership agreement by April 1 ??? (Jian takes the lead)
  
  5. Approved for assisting brother Li Dun on arranging his financial support money (Song takes the execution, Jian sets up the rules)

Next meeting will be on March 10 (?) at 9 PM CST (Houston time)
